Information held on tenancy reference databases may also be disclosed to us. Where a tenant fails to comply with their obligations under a tenancy agreement, relevant information may be disclosed to the landlord, other agents and tenancy reference database operators where permitted by law.
If required information is not provided, we may be unable to assess a tenancy application or effectively manage the tenancy.
We collect and use personal information from vendors and prospective vendors to act as the vendor's agent, fulfil our obligations under agency agreements and provide property market appraisals.
We collect and use personal information from purchasers and prospective purchasers to respond to enquiries, facilitate property inspections, communicate information about properties for sale and provide relevant real estate services.
Personal information may be collected during open house inspections for legitimate business and security purposes. We may also contact prospective purchasers about the property they have enquired about and other properties where permitted by law and, where required, with their consent.
We may disclose relevant information to vendors, purchasers, prospective buyers, media organisations, online advertising platforms, property inspectors, valuers, financial institutions, owners' corporations, government and statutory bodies, professional advisers and other parties where reasonably necessary to perform our services or as required or authorised by law.
Unrealestate Coffs Coast may be required to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), associated Rules and other applicable laws when providing certain regulated real estate services.
Where these obligations apply, we may collect and verify personal information to establish and verify a customer's identity, understand the nature and purpose of a transaction, assess and manage relevant financial crime risks and comply with applicable customer due diligence requirements.
